At the Metro Board of Directors meeting on May 23, 2024, the Metro Board selected the staff recommended Hybrid Alternative as the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) for the Proposed Project in the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR). To learn more about the Hybrid Alternative studied in the Draft EIR, we’ve put together a video explanation here: English and Spanish.
Metro is preparing the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for release to the public in the second half of 2025, which will include responses to all public comments on the Draft EIR. Metro will continue to engage with local cities, advance design and technical analysis, update cost estimates, and refine the funding plan.
