I-5 North County Enhancements Project Community Meeting

Metro and Caltrans District 7 have a plan to make it easier to get around by making safety and operational enhancements along Interstate 5 (I-5) in North LA County from the State Route 14 (SR-14) interchange to just south of Parker Rd in Castaic. The project aims to provide a safer, faster, and smoother driving experience on the freeway.
These enhancements include:
> 14 miles of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV)/carpool lanes in each direction
> Addition of auxiliary lanes
> Addition of sound walls at 4 locations
> Extension of truck lanes
