Vermont Transit Corridor: Public Meeting

Metro is enhancing transit along Vermont Avenue with bus-only lanes planned for early next year and the Vermont Avenue Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project launching by 2028. Join an upcoming community meeting to learn about:
– Faster Trips: Dedicated lanes and signal priority will speed up travel.
– Reliable Service: Improvements aim to reduce delays and ensure timely arrivals.
– Safer Streets: Separated bus lanes, enhanced crosswalks, and improved lighting will enhance safety for riders and pedestrians.
Metro is also seeking a CEQA exemption under SB 922, with studies on racial equity, residential displacement, and project business case for public review and feedback.
