How to Get There
The following Metro lines provide service to the Bowl:
- Rail: B Line to Hollywood/Highland Station and connect to Bowl Shuttle or walk from the station to the bowl. It is approximately 1 mile walk north on Highland Ave to reach the bowl from the station.
- Bus: 222, 212

Bowl Shuttle:
The Bowl shuttle is free with a valid TAP card or a GoMetro Round-Trip Pass. Get on at the location below:

Shuttle stop is located in the Orange Court, on Level Two off of Orange Dr. between Hollywood Blvd. and Franklin Ave.
Departures every 15-20 minutes, beginning 2.5 hours before the concert.

Tips for Riding Metro
Here’s how to ride with your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass:
On Metro Rail, scan your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass QR code at the scanner located on fare gates. For ungated stations without scanners, you may board without scanning, but be prepared to show your QR code to Fare Compliance Officers or Transit Security upon request.
On Metro Bus, show your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass QR code to the bus operator.
On Board
- Small coolers and picnic baskets are okay to bring on board, but please keep aisles clear.
- Eating or drinking while in stations or onboard Metro buses and trains is not permitted.
- Please do not bring barbecue grills, flammable products or oversized items on board.
Traveling Safe
- Obey all traffic signals and instructions from Metro staff.
- Look both ways before crossing the tracks and street.
- Stand back from the edge of the train platforms and curbs at bus stops.

Can I use my GoMetro Round-Trip Pass or TAP card to ride the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle?
Yes! Simply show your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass or a TAP card used in the previous two hours to the Shuttle Attendant, and you may ride any for the four Bowl Shuttles (Ovation Hollywood, Ventura Blvd., LA Zoo, Burbank Metrolink) for free! Is the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass valid on Metro Bike Share, Metro Micro, or other municipal transit agencies?
No, the Metro QR code is only valid on Metro bus and rail. The GoMetro Round-Trip Pass can be scanned on any of the Metro Rail station gates or can be visually validated on Metro bus and light rail stations. Be prepared to show your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass to Fare Compliance Officers or Transit Security upon request.
My GoMetro Round-Trip Pass QR code is not displaying on my ticket, what do I do?
Your QR codes for both the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass and the Hollywood Bowl event will automatically appear on your digital ticket 14 days prior to the event. There is no action required on your part; your ticket will update itself to include the QR codes.
How long is the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass valid for?
The GoMetro Round-Trip Pass is valid starting six hours before that day’s concert and expires 10 hours after the event.
If an event is canceled or rescheduled, your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass will be valid for six months from the date of purchase.
What is the fare value of the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass, and does it include fare capping and other reduced fares?
The GoMetro Round-Trip Pass has $3.50 of Stored Value for a round-trip to and from the event venue. The GoMetro Round-Trip Pass is not eligible for fare capping or reduced fares – it is a special event pass only.
Is my QR code eligible for a free transit transfer?
Yes, the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass allows free transfers on Metro bus and rail within two hours of a scan.
If I already bought my Hollywood Bowl tickets, can I still purchase a GoMetro Round-Trip Pass?
While GoMetro Round-Trip passes are only available for purchase when purchasing concert tickets, you can ride to the event by using a TAP card, the TAP LA app, or by adding a TAP card directly to your Apple Wallet, and still ride the Bowl Shuttles for free!
Can I access my GoMetro Round-Trip Pass through the TAP app?
No, the GoMetro Round-Trip Pass is not accessible through the TAP app.
You can access your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass by logging in to your account at hollywoodbowl.com with the email address used to purchase your tickets or by downloading the Hollywood Bowl app on a mobile device (available in the App Store and Google Play). We strongly recommend adding your GoMetro Round-Trip Pass to your mobile device’s wallet prior to your trip. This Metro pass is valid only for events hosted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl (this does not currently include lease event concerts presented by LIVE NATION | HEWITT SILVA or Rodri Entertainment Presents).
