The station will be open to the public starting at 5pm on Friday, June 6th. There will not be a public ceremony or event. 

Yes, rides will be free beginning Friday, June 6th through Sunday, June 8th on Metro Bus, Rail, Bikes and Micro.

The new station will service the Metro Rail C and K Lines and features a 16-bay bus plaza with connections to multiple Metro Bus lines, regional transit services, and shuttle routes: 

  • Bays 1 & 2: LAX Metro Connector—shuttle to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) all terminals 
  • Bay 4: Santa Monica Big Blue Bus 3 
  • Bay 5: Santa Monica Big Blue Bus Rapid 3 
  • Bay 6: Torrance Transit 8 
  • Bay 7: Culver City Transit 6 & Rapid 6 
  • Bay 8: Metro Bus 102 
  • Bay 9: Beach Cities Transit 109 
  • Bay 10: Gtrans 5 
  • Bay 11: Metro Bus 120 
  • Bay 12: Metro Bus 117 
  • Bay 13: Metro Bus 111 
  • Bay 14: Metro Micro 
  • Bay 15: Metro Bus 232 

There is no passenger pick-up or drop-off area within the LAX/Metro Transit Center bus bay area for private vehicles, ride shares, taxis, or any other commercial vehicles. This policy is in place to minimize traffic disruptions for buses and maintain smooth operations at the transit center. Riders can be dropped off right outside of the station at 9225 Aviation Blvd

Monday – Friday – 6 am – 6:30 pm 
Sat & Sun – 10am – 6 pm 

No, the station does not have parking, but it does feature a secure bike hub. The bus bay area is reserved for Metro and municipal bus lines.

The dedicated shuttle to/from LAX runs every 10 minutes between the LAX/Metro Transit Center and all LAX terminals. The shuttle operates every day from 5am to 1am. 

Security is present at the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station 24/7. Metro Transit Ambassador hours vary. 

LAX/Metro Transit Center bus bay hours of operation align with service for each Metro and municipal bus line. The LAX Metro Connector bus shuttle operates every day from 5am to 1am. Hours of operation for the C and K Lines vary, see schedules:
