Mobility Wallet Pilot Program

The Mobility Wallet pilot program encourages transportation equity by promoting access to opportunities, reducing gas emissions and improving economic and health outcomes for people in Los Angeles County.

This program is under the City of Los Angeles’s Universal Basic Mobility initiatives.

Mobility Wallets are on their Way! Digital Instant Cards from US Bank will start arriving via Expense wizard email by 6/30 - Download the Instant Card app to access your card. Physical cards will arrive early July. See FAQ and Activation guide under links. Las Billeteras De Movilidad (Mobility Wallets) están en camino! Las tarjetas digitales “Instant Card” de US Bank (por Expense Wizard) se enviarán por correo electrónico a partir del 30 de junio. Descargue la aplicación Instant Card para acceder a su tarjeta. In Phase II of the pilot, 2,000 eligible participants across LA County will receive up to $1,800 for 12 months to spend on a variety of shared transportation services, including: Metro Bus and Rail, city buses, Metro Micro, Bikeshare, Metrolink, E-scooters and bikes, taxi services, regional transportation services (Greyhound, Amtrak, and FlixBus), ride-hailing services (Uber/Lyft/Waymo) and merchandise purchases at local bike shops.
